You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.

HOLLY CHRISTMAS

As an advocate of children’s literacy I developed a character to bring the magic of books, and reading for pleasure to all, specifically to raise funds for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, a charity close to my heart.

The character Holly Christmas came to life in December (2019) and provided entertainment for all the children that visited the magical Santa’s Grotto at St. Enoch Centre throughout the month of December, with festive stories and songs.

All money raised at these storytelling sessions went directly to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

Holly Christmas continues to support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and has also started supporting Crosshouse Children’s Fund by providing storytelling sessions complete with sing-a-long songs and other Christmas-related activities. For all enquiries please complete the form on my Contact page. You can keep up to date on all activities on Instagram, X, & Facebook @hollychristmasX

During COVID-19 I was extremely proud to continue to support Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity by providing online storytelling sessions.

I have a public story time session on YouTube on this link https://youtu.be/7QTp-C-P6ro which is available to all, as well as a collection of other storytelling sessions especially for the patients of Glasgow Children’s Hospital to watch on the iPads provided by this wonderful charity.

You can help me continue to raise funds for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity by donating on this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/hollychristmas

All money raised will immediately support staff, children and families at Glasgow’s children’s hospital and neonatal units.

So, please donate what you can, every bit counts.
